All unambiguous end-of-line hyphens have been removed, and the trailing part of a word has been joined to the preceding line. Every effort has been made to preserve the Māori macron using unicode.
Some keywords in the header are a local Electronic Text Collection scheme to aid in establishing analytical groupings.
Yongqing Ma reviewed and checked TEI make-up keyboarded by TechBooks, corrected the capitalisation problem in the header and headings. Corrected the problems in quotations and title page’s display. Deleted unnecessary corresponded tags and related page images. Added some new name keys and modified TEI markup for the display of letters and documents using embedded text elements as well as the hierarchal structure of divisions.
