Zoo Keeper

He liked to let the zoo animals go.
The pause of contempt before the big cats ran towards the city.
He wanted to see which animals stayed in their cages
and stared at the sky.

On the surveillance camera he wasn't hard to spot.
He got a lifetime ban from zoos on five continents
and indefinite Community Service at Accident and Emergency.

On the news he said into the microphone:
'I touched an elephant. It felt like the skin of a rain cloud.'
Then ducked his head as he got into the police car.
