The Hotel de Borch. Present are the teams—in readiness for their big games tomorrow, the interested parties in the shape of Mr Hoffa and Wal all with their retinues. During the rather cagey conversation there is a police raid. When everybody has, with some difficulty, established that they are bona fide guests, the police depart (taking several bottles of grog as evidence). To soothe the ruffled tempers, the management of the hotel distribute pamphlets and posters on South Sea Island Travel. Wal is intrigued with the idea. He dreams of the possibilities and we fade into—
