The Producer

This year's show was somehow produced by Doug. Wilson, alias Jim Crint, World Handshaking Champion (Guiness Book of Records, 1965.—Ed.).

Thanks mainly to his devotion, perseverance, brute force and ignorance, another Extravaganza has reached the boards. Doubling as a scriptwriter, Doug. as is 21 years old advertising copywriter from Wanganui.

The Authors

Four poor souls are to blame for this year's debacle; Rad Brawbridge and John Mete-Kingi, two sometime Wellington law clerks, devised and painfully typed the first half of the show. When last contacted in Australia, counting Law Society Trust Funds and fingering their hand-painted silk ties, they were quoted as saying, "There are smiles that make you happy, there are smiles that make you rich." Food for thought?

GUNK was written by Doug. Wilson and Dennis Paxie, the latter being a large veteran Extrav trouper whose sense of humour is exceeded only by his efficiency as Chorus Director and Bouncer. A third year Arts student and member of the Student Union Executive, he prefers to remain anonymous. As a member of the World Record Breaking Victoria University Drinking Team at the Easter Tournament, his comments were somewhat incoherent if not downright unprintable.

Extrav Committee.

Don Mckenzie — Extra Controller.

Committee Andrew Cornwall, Ian Pinkerton, Hugh Campbell, John Young, Dennis Paxie, Murray Gray, Nick Olivier, Rad Drawbridge, Doug. Wilson.

Credits

Our thanks go to Leone Ralph who ably tutored and controlled the Male Ballet.

Barry Morgan for help in advertising.

And all the myriad other people who assisted in some way.
