Allan Lees

Has been designer for many productions in Wellington in recent years. After designing the New Zealand Opera Company's production of "Don Giovanni" and "Swan Lake" for the New Zealand Ballet Trust in 1965, he went to Australia, and, as designer at the Elizabeth an Theatre Trust in Sydney, was responsible for designs for "La Boheme", "Rigoletto" and "Don Pasquale". He returned to Wellington in February of this year and will continue as a free-lance' designer for opera, ballet and drama.
