Penguin Books: In a Strange Garden

Lloyd Chapman lives on ten acres on the Kapiti coast with his wife, Ann. They have a boutique nursery growing old roses, while Lloyd strives to breed a thoroughbred horse good enough to win the derby. Lloyd worked for thirteen years in England in North Sea oil exploration before returning to New Zealand and setting up a consultancy offering geophysical services to oil explorers. This is his first book. He hopes the next one will be about roses.
