Ferguson, John Hamilton, House, Land and Estate, Insurance, and General Commission Agent, Napier. Mr. Ferguson began business life in Napier about 1892, as a clerk in the employ of Messrs Baker and Tabuteau. He remained in their employ for thirteen years, holding latterly the position of chief clerk; and in April, 1905, he opened up business on his own account as a general commercial agent, dealing principally in house property, land, insurance, and general commerce. He is further referred to as captain of the Napier Rowing Club.
