Received this twenty-first (21st) day of May, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and sixty (1860), the sum of three hundred pounds sterling (£300), being the £300 consideration money expressed in the above written deed, to be paid by James Mackay, junior, on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen to us.
