Foreword

In 1963 Mr. B. E. Dickinson commenced working on the origins of Nelson streets names. He was assisted in this by members of the Federation of University Women and the City Engineer, Mr. C. T. Kidson. A small contribution appeared in our Journal of March, 1964. In this present number the work has been carried a further stage and should be of interest both to our members and the general public of Nelson.
