SADD, Charlotte Ann 1866–1937

Born Nelson, daughter of J. B. Sadd, schoolmaster: educated at Miss Pickett's School. Studied art with Mrs Morgan Cooke and with Colonel Branfill: passed the South Kensington exams with distinc- page 211 tion. Exhibited oils and watercolours with the Bishopdale Sketching Club, later Nelson Suter Art Society; CSA from 1902; NZ Academy of Fine Arts Wtn from 1904.
