Train travelling, as a rule, is a sure mode of transport, but trains are closely akin to tide and time, which wait for no man, except he happens to be "head" or a millionaire. No 2 A S.H. Tennis players had regard to this when they elected to travel to the city by the sea per motor, and plav the sister game of "fives" against the 14th. A.G.H. Result, the boys from Moacar were defeated by 6 sets to 3, or 46 games to 31. Stevenson, Sutherland, Hill, Lever, Willis and Langford combined to "do in" the reps, of the "Stationary" players, whilst Mitchell made the official entry to that effect. For the winners, Hutchison and Miller played like the Doherty Bros of old, only losing one game in three sets.
