The following were authorised: that Salient should appear 24 times per year: that a subscription card should cost 4/-: that a single copy should cost 3d. The revised Publications regulations (which were the result of a couple of Publications Committee meetings at the end of last year) were introduced. In future, all articles which appear in Salient shall be in good taste and shall not contain scurrilous or libellous attacks on individuals or organizations." If the editor is in doubt as to the taste of an article, he shall refer it to the officers (any two) of the Association. If they Ok it, then they take the kicks, if any. The editor may appeal to the exec. if these officers won't Ok it; and then the exec. becomes responsible if they do it. The editor is responsible for any articles which he prints without this approval.

The exec was to advise the council that it approves the principle of setting up a committee to consider the block allocation and facilities needed on the new building: and that the committee should consist of one representative of the Prof. Board: one of the other teaching staff: two from the council: two from past students: four from present students (two to be permanent) and the trustees of the Building Fund ex officio. One of the first duties of the planning committees should be to consider the appointment of a suitable architect it was resolved that members of the present Exec. be appointed to constitute a committee to start immediately getting information about the needs of students and clubs for submission to the Committee. Well, there it is.
