The Vice-Chairman of the New Zealand Committee for the Australia-New Zealand Congress for International Co-operation and Disarmament (Dean Chandler) has issued the following statement.
A Congress for International Co-operation and Disarmament is to be held in Melbourne from November 7 to 14, 1959.
(a) | To achieve the widest possible participation of the Australian and New Zealand people in discussion around the subjects of International Co-operation and Disarmament. |
(b) | To make the strongest possible impact upon the communities of the two countries with a view to achieving national policies directed to international cooperation and disarmament. |
(1) | Giving your official endorsement. |
(2) | Hearing a speaker from our Committee. |
(3) | Electing a delegate or observer to the Congress. |
(4) | Making a donation to our Congress Fund. |
(5) | Sending a delegate or observer to our next Committee meeting. |
