Canterbury plans

Christchurch.—"We must plan for the student population nine years ahead, because it takes nine years to get a new building," Professor A. Crowther, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Canterbury, told a meeting in Christchurch.
"Of course the plans will be wrong; when the students arrive into the new buildings they won't fit." he said.
"But no one knows who will win the Vietnam war, so there may never be 7000 students here at all."
