Sludge — Piggy And Keith

Sludge

Piggy And Keith

Piggy and Keith
They were politicians
People let me tell you
They were the farmers' children
Piggy and Keith
Overspent their money
Let me tell you people
The outlook didn't look too sunny.
They borrowed from banks
And then they borrowed some more
Explained it away like nothing at all
And kept on taxing the poor.
Now one fat man
He tried to stop them alone
They bashed his skull with a ballot-box
And chizzed about if all the way home.
Piggy and Keith
They were in the pooh now
And people let me tell you that
They didn't now what to do now

(At this point readers are recommended to place two copies of this Salient eight feet. apart, stand between them and they will hear overseas creditors knocking on the door in full stereophonic sound)

Piggy and Keith were amazed when the overseas funds had gone
Piggy and Keith public enemies number one.
They joked about the death
They knew was in '69
They hid beneath the I.M.F*
Protected from the bullets' whine
Piggy and Keith
They laughed a lot together
They'll soon be gone forever... . .

(Stereophonic listeners will now hear a sound not entirely dissimilar from that of three thousand international creditors breaking down a door and tearing two politicians limb from limb)
