The Boundaries of the land.

Boundaries. The Boundary on the East commences at "Te Awahapa," from thence towards "Waimangaro," from thence in an inland direction to "Pukerewarewa," (marks being visible on the Ridge) from thence in a northerly direction to "Mangakerikeri," from thence to "Puketarahanga," from thence to "Pukehuia," here it turns, from thence to "Taumataokorora" form thence to "Piruru," from thence to "Ngarua," from thence until it descends and reaches "Kaipatiki," this being the boundary on the northern side; here it finishes.
Lands formerly sold to Europeans excluded. Any lands which were sold to Europeans formerly, or prior to this sale, are hereby excluded from this present purchase.

Now, in consideration of our having conveyed this portion of land to the Queen of England, that is to say to the Government for the use of her people, the sum of One hundred pounds in money (£100) has been paid into our hands by H. T. Kemp an officer appointed by the Government for the purchase of land in New Zealand.

Now therefore, We have freely consented to transfer entirely this piece of land to the Queen of England and to Her Successors for ever and ever; In token of our having made over this land, and as an acknowledgment for the money which we have received for the same we have hereunto affixed our names and marks to this Deed of Sale.

Receipt for £100. We hereby acknowledge to have received from H. T. Kemp on this day the sum of one hundred pounds sterling.
