The Founders of Canterbury

The Rev. J. Cecil Wynter. Reigate, 4th January, 1850

The Rev. J. Cecil Wynter. Reigate, 4th January, 1850.

My Dear Sir,

—My brother being too unwell to leave home, and to write just now with his own hand, employs me in Mr. McGeachy's name as well as his own, to express an earnest hope that you will come here for a consultation by ten o'clock.

They hope that they have devised a means of preventing the Resolution of yesterday producing fatal effects; but if so, action to-day by Mr. McGeachy, in London, and by the Committee on Monday next, will be indispensable.

They are both very anxious to see you.
