Lord Lyttelton
Lord Lyttelton.
My Dear Lord,
—As Mr. Sewell is writing to you, I need only say, in acknowledging the receipt of your letter, that I think his keenness in foreseeing difficulties is accompanied by much courage in dealing with them. And though he is unsanguine, I fancy that he is very tenacious of his purpose, and far from being inclined to despond.
His presence here in your Lordship's absence is an indescribable comfort to my mind.
