Library Technlogy Services digitised Heels as a part of a project to digitise student media from Victoria University of Wellington.
Heels is the magazine of the Victoria University of Wellington Tramping Club. Heels was first published in the early 1960's and reported on club outings and social gatherings until the early 1990's. Victoria University's Tramping Club was established in 1921 and was known a "political, social and sporting affair". Members included well known Victoria Alumni such as John Cawte Beaglehole, Professor Edwin Boyd-Wilson and mountaineer John Pascoe.
